Style for Style

katya de grunwald is a london-based photographer, aren't her photo's just fabulous !!? I love her eye for colour, and I am particularly drawn to her still life shots as well.  Katya has done work for magazines like Elle decoration, world of interiors, martha stewart home,exit and home and garden, not to mention she has also had exhibits in barcelona, london and brighton!! She is established!!! I can see why, I find her work extreamly inspiring

A Favourite Find

this may be one of my very favourite mid-century modern loft I have come across lately.  there is definatly something to said for the saying "whats old is new" there is an overwhelming sense of style here, by the mixture of colours and the way each piece has been arranged.  I totally dig all the fabulous collections of fun, beautiful items, everything is well balanced and minimal. The homeowner is dab, he loves to thrift shop and has a passion for collecting things needing to be saved, like film cameras, shoes, books, art, furniture, knickknacks, and even plants, and he clearly has a knack for finding the good stuff.  you can follow dab’s finds on his super stylish blog, old brand new, and check out his prints at toss and turn.
