A color repeated in three separate places creates a color theme
Match at least one pillow on a sofa or a bed with a rug or carpet in the room
Connect the colors of pillows, accent chairs, and lamps with the window treatments to maintain the theme.
Bring in pops of color with smaller objects while letting the larger pieces of furniture and walls neutral foundation.
Be sure any color you see in the foreground is connected on the opposite side of the room
