Too Soon?!

I just realized while at the grocery store with my partner the other day, Valentines Day is coming!!?? Completely off my radar this year.  (He instantly decided we shouldn't do much this year) That's fair... however, who can't deny a little DIY project! 

Step 1 

Stack 4 to 8 {I always use more to create a fuller pom-pom but for the hear you would need larger and smaller pom-poms} 20-by-30-inch sheets of tissue. Make 1 1/2-inch-wide accordion folds, creasing with each fold. You will need a total of 30 pom-poms. Optional: mIx tissue paper in different colors.

Step 2

Fold an 18-inch piece of floral wire in half, and slip over center of folded tissue; twist. With scissors, trim ends of tissue into rounded shapes.

Step 3 

Separate layers, pulling away from center one at a time.

Step 4 

Bend wire into a loop to fit around napkin, and twist end around loop to secure.
